Beautiful You!

Morning

I did enjoy my crafty time on Saturday. I decided to have a play with the Beautiful You stamp set. I thought I would do some paper piecing, it can be a bit fiddley but I’m not good at colouring in, and I have plenty of pretty papers.

I managed to find a K & Company 6 x 6 pad that I’ve had for years, and I thought this paper looked so fresh, just right for the lovely weather we have been having.

I do hope you like it.

See you Thursday .

Beautiful You

Sooooo Excited

Hi thanks for popping in.

I’ve just got back from my very first Stampin’ Up craft retreat. Wow what a weekend. I met 42 wonderful ladies who made me feel very welcome. I must admit I was rather nervous to begin with, but Sarah, Jane and Victoria (my table buddies) made me feel right at home.

I joined Stampin’ Up as an independent demonstrator only 3 months ago and only have a couple of stamp sets, a few tools and some card. My table buddies came to my rescue sharing with me anything I needed. So generous. It felt a bit like a try before you buy session. Needless to say I was soon hooked and have since ordered more stamp sets, the new in colour inks and some beautiful designer series paper. Can hardly wait for them to arrive.

The week leading up to the event was very busy but I managed to make some ATC’s to swap with everyone. I used watercolour paper, distress inks and the ‘Beautiful You‘ stamp set. I hope you like them.

I’ll show you the swaps I received in return another day, when I have manged to photograph them. They are amazing. So many talented people.

Anyway must go and get crafting as I managed to volunteer to be part of this months design team. Come back on Thursday to see what I have created…….
